Terms of service

These terms apply when you use StreamLayout.

Draft: this text is under legal review and the wording may change.

What StreamLayout does

StreamLayout receives donation notifications and alert design settings from your connected platforms and shows alerts in one OBS widget.

StreamLayout doesn’t accept or transfer money: payments go through the platform.

Account

One person, one account. You’re responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens in your account.

Changes on platforms

Platforms can change their data formats and limit access. We don’t guarantee that connections work without interruptions, but we keep donations in your history and report errors in the dashboard.

Donor messages

StreamLayout shows donation text unchanged, except for the platform’s own rules: blocklists and link removal. The streamer is responsible for what appears on stream.

Style generation

A style from a description is created automatically by an external generation service; only the text of your description is sent to it. The number of generations is limited; the limits are shown in the dashboard.

You can use the resulting styles in your widgets. You’re responsible for the content of your descriptions.

The StreamLayout logo on alerts

Alerts that go through StreamLayout show a small StreamLayout logo in the bottom-right corner. Conditions related to it will be specified in the final version.

Ending your use

You can delete your account in settings at any time.

We may block an account for abuse: mass test alerts, attempts to access other people’s data, abuse of style generation.

Liability, governing law and language

Limitations of liability, the governing law and the language version that prevails will be stated after legal review.

Country-specific requirements

Information required by the laws of specific countries will be added if needed.
